Just A Beautiful Sight

I can't begin to express my love for Christmas.  It makes me want to do more, give more and love more.  I get teary eyed hearing spiritual Christmas songs and wonder if I was one of those angles who got to sing at Christ's birth, proclaiming the wonderful good tidings, CHRIST IS BORN!
We found this little nativity box in England, I think it's one of my favorite things we put out during this special time.

Many Things to be Grateful For

The highlight of my week was the little red cardinals that would come and visit our garden.  We have seen at most 5 eating away at the seeds at one sitting.  We say it's the five Shockley cardinals.
While Nana visited we created our very own thatched English gingerbread cottage.  Lovely, just lovely!

Miss E.'s 8th Birthday

Miss E. just turned 8 and has made a very important decision, she is getting baptized.  She is my E.'s special church friend, so we are so happy and excited for her!

A Gift of a Life-Time

I use to think my favorite color was purple.   It wasn't until living on God's most beautiful island that I realized I have a new favorite.  I love green.  I love it because that was the color of our garden year round (even in the dead of winter).  I love green because it is a reminder that the summers are not so hot but perfectly mild (just the way I prefer).  Green is vibrant, it feels like you are looking through technicolored glasses.  I love green because green is the color of grass and footpaths that I ran 1,500 miles.  Green is what I saw as I ran and walked miles and miles every day,  it saw me sweat and lose 50 pounds of my old self and shaped my into the old me.  I love green.  I love this island.  I hit the jackpot of life, marrying an amazing man whose jobs allows us to live all over the world.  Green is my new purple.
Here we were walking around Corfe Castle.  I wonder if I'd ever tire of such an amazing view if I was privileged to live in this village.
 What lovely biscuits!
 Dorest.
Some clotted cream and scones and British strawberries, what a perfect way to start the morning.

 Old Harry Rocks.
Aren't these three the luckiest kids alive, to only have memories of childhood in England.
Her Majesty must be proud of such a beautiful island.

 The Jurassic Coastline.
I could stay  here my whole life.
On our way to Cambridge we stopped by a little village called Grantchester.

Met up with some great friends for an afternoon out.
Climbed a bell tower to get the best view of Cambridge.

Kings College, if we are lucky one of our three will go here.
One of our favorite bookstores in Cambridge.

 Kings College.
 Punting down the river Cam.

 Big Ben.
 Our favorite view in London.
 The rosetta stone.
London's free museums are some of the best!

When Your Sweet Baby Girl Turns Eight

Look who has turned eight!  Our little E.  She has made a choice to get baptized and officially be member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We are so proud of her.

Blue is her favorite color, she asked me to photograph her in the bluebells.
